tabXpert privacy policy

This privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect and use. When we refer to “tabXpert”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this policy, we are referring to a private entrepreneur Andriy Kiyanovskyy, who provides the Services to you. The “Services” refers to the tabXpert extension and website www.tabxpert.com. By using Services, you agree that we can collect, use, disclose, and process your information as described in this policy. This policy only applies to Services, and not to any other websites, products, or services you may be able to access or link to via Services. The use of information collected through our Services shall be limited to the purpose of providing the services for our customers and as specified herein.

Information we collect

URLs you visit: In order to provide you Services, we save URLs you visit except for secure windows. Normal window URLs are synchronized with the cloud only if you have this feature turned on. We store the data required for providing these Services in IBM Cloudant DB.

Customer Account and Registration Data: This includes information you provide to create your account with us and includes a password and a valid email address.

Google Analytics: We also track your usage with Google Analytics, so that we know how many users we have, their approximate location, and how they interact with our software. We use Google Analytics as described in “How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps”. You can prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics on websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on here.

How we use the information we collect

tabXpert may access and use the data we collect as necessary (a) to provide and maintain the Services; (b) to address and respond to service and customer support issues; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, unlawful, or technical issues; (d) as required by law; (e) to improve and enhance the Services.

Some specific examples of how we use the information:

When your subscription to our Services has expired for 30 days, we delete all your data in the cloud except Customer Account and Registration Data. Use the 'Delete account' button to delete your Customer Account and Registration Data. In this case, all your data will be deleted immediately.

Information sharing

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We may share your personal information with (a) third-party service providers; (b) as needed for legal purposes. Third-party service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions.

Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our extension or website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this privacy policy.

Providing these Services, we follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If our extension is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide you Services.
